Steps wants to give all our students a positive experience. We therefore ask all parents to read through our rules for the dance lessons with their children before the first dance class.

Age
The child needs to be 4 years old to attend when the course starts.

No parents in the studio
It’s important that you prepare your child that you will not be with them in the dance studio during class. With parents inside, we know from experience that the children have a hard time to concentrate and they get less out of the dance class.

Don’t leave Steps without telling us
In order for the children to feel safe, we ask you to not leave Steps Dansestudio while the class runs. If you for some reason need to leave Steps, please tell the teacher or the office beforehand.

Toilet visits
Remember to always have your child visit the restroom before class. This is important so that the dance class is not interrupted with many toilet visits.
All children are different and some need to go more often than others.
If your child has got special needs of any kind, please give us information.

Food and drinks
We recommend our youngest students to have a water bottle which they can use after the dance class is finished. It’s not allowed to bring food or gum to inside the dance studio.

Please make sure that your child wear clothes in which he/she can move freely.
They can be barefoot or wear ballet slippers.
Hair must be fully pulled back in a bun or a pony tail.
Most girls wear a pink ballet suit, but this is not a mandatory.
